J. Craig Glover was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas and from the age of 12 he knew that a life in funeral service would be his life's work.
Craig went to work for a local Amarillo funeral home in 1976. He married his high school sweetheart, Rebecca Alsobrook in 1977.
Craig served in the U.S Navy before graduating from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in New Mexico and Texas.
The first half of Craig's career was spent serving families in Texas. He then came to Albuquerque in- 2000 where he served as a funeral director, embalmer and manager at a large local mortuary company.
In 2008, Craig and Rebecca founded Director's Choice Mortuary Services, helping other funeral directors in New Mexico, across the country and around the world by assisting them with the return of loved ones of the families those directors were serving.
In 2016, Director's Choice Mortuary Services became a licensed funeral establishment to serve any and all families who might need an alternative choice when making final arrangements.
When you and your family face the loss of a loved one, one of the first decisions that you will make is which firm to call to handle the final arrangements. There are many fine funeral homes in the Albuquerque area to serve you and your family. Each one has the staff, the facilities and expertise to handle all of your funeral or cremation needs. Any firm would be honored to serve you.
However, if your need for service is less about extravagance or you are simply looking for an affordable alternative, Director's Choice Mortuary Services is the right choice for you.
Unlike a traditional funeral home, a mortuary service company typically serves only other funeral directors across the country and around the world. Director's Choice Mortuary Services is licensed as a Commercial Establishment and is also a licensed Funeral Establishment by the State of New Mexico. We offer both services and merchandise to you for less than a typical, traditional funeral home might be able to.
We can do this because we operate our company in an industrial setting that is less expensive to operate and therefore, we can pass the savings onto the families that we serve.
Our mission is to give you and your family another way to honor, rememberand say goodbye to your loved one in a less costly, yet dignified way.
