Albino Baca

Albino Baca, age 84, a lifelong resident of Belen, NM, passed away on July 1, 2023. Albino was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. He loved fellowship with the Lord and believed in the power of prayer. He enjoyed gardening, cooking and he took pride in his home and family. He was retired from the State of New Mexico and served Valencia County for more than 40 years in various political roles.

Albino was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Baca; parents, Macedonio and Bessie Baca; siblings, Margaret Josephs, Dolores Silva, Lucy Garcia, Manuel Baca, Arsenio Baca and a grandson, Miguel Chavez.

He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Phillips and husband, Scott and Sharon Sanchez; sisters, Marina Griego, Helen Chavez and Delma Carrillo; grandchildren, Ricoh, Rebecca, DeAnn, Noellah and Selah and great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Grace, Francisco, Jyeshua and Elijah as well as numerous nieces and nephews,
