Anita Lynn Vaughn

It is with great sadness that the family of Anita Lynn Vaughn, 73, of Albuquerque, announces Anita passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 15, 2019, at 8:49 pm. at Presbyterian Hospital.

Anita Lynn Vaughn will be lovingly remembered by her son, Jimmy Canada, Sr.; her daughter, Lisa Hamilton; two brothers, David Vaughn and Paskal Vaughn; her best friend of 25 years, Bernie Boward; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many other friends.

She was preceded in death by two of her daughters, Sherrie and Shellie Canada; a sister, Norma Morgan; a brother, Daniel Vaughn; and her parents, Paskell L. Vaughn and Mona Ann (Hall) Vaughn.

Though a single mother of four, Anita enjoyed bowling, dancing and other social activities while working as a hair stylist and live-in manager for a storage facility before her retirement.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
