Consuelo “Connie” Montoya was born January 17, 1934 in Ribera, New Mexico. She was a lifelong resident of New Mexico and parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernardino “Benny” Montoya; her parents, Cipriano and Beatrice Dominguez; sisters, Alice Sandoval, Mela Vigil, Angie Serna, Evelyn “Lynn” Saintliness and Lorraine Townley . She is survived by her children David Dominguez, wife Theresa, Patricia Chavez-Myer, partner Billy Perrault; grandchildren, Melinda Dominguez, Justin Dominguez, Nadine Baca, David Myer and Amalia Alvarez; great-grandchildren Dominique “Nikki” Gomez, Summer Bee Alvarez and Brandi Mares; two great-great grandchildren, Maximus Munoz and Autumn Mares. Also surviving is one sister Juanita Lopez and three brothers, Cipriano “Pat” Dominguez, Michael Dominguez and wife Mary Ann, Wilfred Dominguez and wife Eloisa and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.  Connie spent most of her life caring for others and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her and will forever be celebrated for the hard working and loving woman she was. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on February 15, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105.
