Elizabeth Anna Rita Berg (Betty or Betty Boop) was a resident of Los Ranchos, NM for 35 years. Prior to that, she raised her children in Dayton, OH.
She passed away 30 September, 2023. She was born on 6 April, 1944 in Albany, NY.
She is survived by her son (John Berg and daughter Katherine Berg Mai), 4 grandchildren (John Berg Jr., Jeffrey Gonzales, Luke and Mark Mai) 3 great grandchildren (Leo, Sora, and Nova Mai).
Elizabeth loved to cook (she considered herself a Master Chef), she was always helping others, and absolutely loved playing card games.
She served the Albuquerque community for 17 years and won numerous awards for volunteering.
She loved going to the Senior Program at the Raymond G. Sanchez community center and spending time with her friends.
Music was a passion of hers. She loved Patsy Cline, Elvis Presley, and Nat King Cole.
