Jane Striplin Urey, 1928 to 2026
It is with heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of Jane Urey, age 97.
She did a lot in her ninety-seven years. Jane owned three women's ready wear stores in Pasadena, California.
When she moved to Albuquerque in 1972, she opened Accent Gardens, a retail plant shop, located on San Mateo and Zuni. Jane owned that store for about seven years. Jane also worked at Applebee's restaurant, which she really enjoyed.
Jane was a member of Eastern Star and Job's Daughters in Southern California. She was also a member of Red Hats in Albuquerque. she was a proud member of Citizens Church.
Jane is survived by her son, Paul Striplin, three nephews and their famillies in California, Illinois, and Nevada, Josh Boggs and family, Tedi and family, and friends Margaret and Nora.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, sister Beverly, granddaughter Karen, and granddaughter-in-law Donna.

A celebration of life will be held August 8, 2026 at Citizens Church. Pastor Paul to officiate.
