Jeremiah Bradley "JJ" Garcia
July 21, 1980 - November 8, 2025
Jeremiah Bradley Garcia, lovingly known as "JJ," age 45, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on November 8, 2025.
Born and raised in New Mexico, Jeremiah built a life centered on dedication, loyalty, and deep love for his family. He worked for the City of Albuquerque as a Computer Analyst, where he was known for his sharp mind, strong work ethic, and willingness to help anyone who needed him.
Jeremiah attended Oklahoma State University and the University of New Mexico. His education and curiosity served him well throughout his life, but his greatest joy came from the people he loved. He had a profound affection for his family—especially his godson, Brandon Garcia Jr.—and he constantly ensured that his parents never went without.
Known for his witty personality and straightforward honesty, Jeremiah brought laughter and clarity to every room he entered. His presence was warm, steady, and deeply cherished by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Rubio and Dillie Martinez and Stella Garcia.
Jeremiah is survived by his parents, Norbert and Matilda Garcia; his brother, Brandon Garcia Sr. and wife Cynthia; his nephews, Brandon Garcia Jr. and Rubio Garcia; and his niece, Ximena Garcia. He is also survived by his uncle Rodney Martinez, uncle David Martinez, aunt Geneen Martinez—each of whom he was especially close to—as well as many other beloved uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Taos Foursquare Church, 223 Camino De La Merced, Taos, NM.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Brandon Garcia Jr., Joey Martinez, Julz Martinez, Isaiah Martinez, Logan Martinez, and Seth Raymond.
Jeremiah will be remembered for his generosity, his humor, and his unwavering devotion to the people he loved. His loss leaves a permanent void, but his memory will remain a blessing to all whose lives he touched.
