Monique Francine Pineda, also known as Mo, passed away on January 22, 2024, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born on January 22, 1989, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and was 35 years old at the time of her passing.

Monique was a loving mother, caring daughter, a great sister, and an even greater friend. She was known for her kind and funny personality, always bringing joy and laughter to those around her. Mo had a generous spirit and a smile that could light up any room.

She is survived by her son, Isaiah Okumoto, her daughters Mariah Okumoto and Priseis Okumoto, and her daughter Serenity Pineda. Monique is also survived by Bobby Okumoto, the father of her children. She is further survived by her mother, Diana Pineda, her father, Richard Pineda, her sister, Gloria Pineda, and her three nieces and nephew.

In her free time, Monique had a variety of hobbies that brought her joy. She loved music and enjoyed listening to it whenever she could. Cooking was another passion of hers, where she would create delicious meals for her loved ones to enjoy. Mo also took pleasure in doing her hair and makeup, always looking her best. Going for walks and hiking allowed her to connect with nature, and she cherished the time spent outdoors. Above all, Monique cherished spending time with her loved ones, creating lasting memories together.

Personal family viewing to honor and remember Monique will be held at Director's Choice, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The funeral home will be assisting the family during this difficult time.
