Robert "Deon" Santillanes

It is with great sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our Deon. He is preceded in death by his by his Grandparents; Raymond Diego and Evelyn Santillanes, Waldo Atencio and Ramona Davis.  He leaves behind his beloved wife of 17 years, Roberta Santillanes, his children Jake and Sophie.  He was the only child to his parents; Robert and Susan Santillanes, In-laws; Bob and Pat Beltran of Oxnard, CA, Godmother; Dinah Gurule and Grandfather; Glenn Davis and many other family members and dear friends.

Deon served in the U.S. Navy for eight years.  He was employed by Bernalillo County as an Environmental Compliance Specialist. He was a proud member of the North Valley Little League family.   He enjoyed coaching and being involved with his kids activities.  He made so many memories and life long friends during his lifetime.  He was an amazing father and husband and put his wife and kids first in everything he did.  He was a true treasure in this world and taken far too soon.  We will never stop missing him.

Services for Deon will be held on March 26th, 2021 at 9:00 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  Burial services at Vista Verde immediately following.
