Thomas 'SOLO' Gallegos, passed away unexpectedly on January 31, 2023 at his residence in Taos, NM. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Thomas was born on May 10, 1984.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Marina. He will forever be cherished by his parents Albert Garcia and Angela Roark. The joy of his life, his daughter Lexie N. Gallegos. His sister, Amanda Muñoz and husband Raul. His memory lives on with his nieces Leticia (Alex) and Madilyn. His cousin, who was raised with him like a brother, Francisco Gallegos. He will be greatly missed by his surviving Grandmother Amada Gallegos, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended family and friends.
Thomas was predeceased by his Grandparents Alberto and Josie Garcia, his Grandfather Roberto Gallegos and Cousin, Monica Martinez .
Thomas was born in Española, NM and spent his childhood in Chili, later he became a resident of Taos. He was a very respectable, loving and kind hearted person. He was often known to give all that he had to benefit someone less fortunate. He did not mind helping the needy, even if it meant sacrificing his own needs. Thomas strongly believed in the unity of family. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, especially the mountains near his hometown of Taos. Thomas was a very hard worker, and was always willing to lend a hand. He had a talent for creativity, and his artistry was unique to his very strong Faith. Thomas's love for our Lord often grounded him, and was a very instrumental part of his life.
Thomas will forever be missed and never forgotten.

Services for Thomas Gallegos will be on March 3, 2023, at the Sacred Heart Church in Española. We will pray a rosary at 11:30, with a funeral mass to follow at 12:00. His burial will be immediately after at the Chili cemetery in Chili, NM (on the Chama highway).
